About Us

Who We Are
Unity for Integration Project (UFIP) is a registered Scottish charity founded to foster inclusion, community harmony, and empowerment for newcomers, migrants, and underserved communities.
Since 2013, we’ve brought people together through events, workshops, mentorship, and digital access -ensuring no one is left behind because of where they come from or how they speak. We believe that everyone deserves a place to belong, contribute, and thrive.

Our Story
Founded in 2013 by Nkechi First, Unity for Integration Project began with a simple goal—to create a welcoming space where people of all backgrounds could find connection, understanding, and opportunity.
What started as a few grassroots events has grown into a community movement. We’re proud to champion inclusion, build bridges, and support the journeys of individuals and families making Scotland their home.

“When people feel seen, supported, and celebrated, they begin to bloom in ways they never imagined. That’s what Unity for Integration Project is about — creating spaces where every story matters and every person belongs.”
– Nkechi First, Founder & Chairperson
