About Us

Unity for Integration Project (UFIP) is a lived-experience led Scottish charity based in Glasgow. We empower newcomers, families, and ethnic minority communities to move from survival to stability and success. We believe that integration is a two-way process rooted in dignity. Our work combines immediate practical assistance with long-term confidence building, ensuring no one is left behind.

Advocacy & Access: Helping individuals navigate complex health, housing, and legal systems with confidence and dignity.
Skills for Independence: Providing CV coaching, job readiness training, and digital skills to unlock economic potential.
Belonging & Community: Reducing isolation through shared meals, youth mentorship, and inclusive cultural events that build strong local networks.

Our Mission: To remove the barriers to integration, foster resilience, and create a Glasgow where everyone has the opportunity to thrive.

Why We Exist

Navigating life in a new country shouldn’t be a struggle fought alone. Too often, systemic barriers, from complex housing forms to digital exclusion—prevent capable people from fully participating in society.

Led by lived experience, UFIP bridges the gap. We go beyond basic support to provide culturally safe guidance and community spaces where individuals can regain their confidence, access their rights, and build a meaningful future in Glasgow.

Lead on hospitality and logistics, ensuring every guest feels valued while gaining practical skills in event coordination and public engagement.

💻 Digital Champions

Serve as a Digital Champion, empowering others to bridge the digital divide. You will help community members master email, stay safe online, and access vital services, ensuring no one is left behind.
