Small symbol. Powerful message. A visible reminder to speak up, stand together and make solidarity part of everyday life.
Why this campaign matters

Solidarity must be visible, active and sustained.

Racism is not only expressed through major public incidents. It can also appear through exclusion, stereotyping, unequal treatment, silence and everyday behaviour that leaves people feeling unsafe or unwelcome.

Unity Against Racism encourages people to move beyond private disagreement and make their values visible. Wearing the wristband, taking the pledge and sharing the campaign are simple actions, but together they can start important conversations and strengthen a culture of belonging.

“A wristband cannot end racism on its own. But it can show someone that they are not alone—and remind the wearer to act when solidarity is needed.”
Three ways to take action

The Unity Against Racism pledge

I will not remain silent when dignity is at stake.

Taking the pledge means committing to continual learning and meaningful action—not claiming to have every answer.

I will listen and keep learning. I will value lived experience and remain open to examining my assumptions.
I will challenge racism when I encounter it. I will not leave the responsibility of confronting discrimination only to those affected by it.
I will help create welcoming spaces. I will consider whose voices are included, heard and valued in the places where I have influence.
I will turn solidarity into action. I will support people, organisations and initiatives working for equality and belonging.
